Judy passed away suddenly but without pain at home in Porlock with her husband Brian by her side on 24th February 2018 aged 62. Beloved mother of daughters Katharine and Claire, and herself accomplished daughter of Dorothy Holden and elder sister of Pauline and Peter. Respected academic scholar, author and Professor Emeritus at Aston University.

Judy had only recently been given the 'all clear' after fighting cancer for four years, before she passed away she was fit & well, full of life and had many plans for the next chapters of her life. Her unexpected passing is a deep and tragic loss to all those who loved her dearly.

A celebratory memorial of her life and accomplishments will be held at Reading Crematorium at 2pm on the 14th March 2018. All welcome.
